We’re a family-run practice providing family-first advice – since 1997.

As your finances get increasingly complex over time, what’s needed is a way to navigate the questions you face, and all the possible answers, in light of your personal priorities.

To this end, we guide our clients through a straightforward, focused process that we’ve designed based on our own experience – as a family and as financial professionals. We have the ability to present complex ideas in an easy-to-understand manner, so that we may provide clients with clear perspective on the long-term and a solid understanding of where they stand today.

Since 1998, Dennis Dietrick has been helping businesses and individuals protect and grow their assets. At ICS Financial, he specializes in designing protection strategies that help individuals, business owners and their employees meet their financial and retirement goals.

Dennis holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Business School at the University of Richmond, in addition to his industry licenses and credentials. He partnered with Ameritas in 2007 and joined ICS Financial in 2019, bringing with him both experience and expertise in the custom strategies and value-added services that help individuals, business owners and their employees grow. 

His ability to provide personal guidance and insight continues to enable his clients to make informed financial decisions.

Financial Representative

Ed Trivisonno is a group retirement and benefits specialist with over three decades of professional experience specializing in developing cohesive financial strategies for both businesses and individuals. Ed concentrates on helping businesses and individuals get the most value from their insurance, benefits and investment dollars.

Beginning in 1986 as an insurance agent Ed was introduced to a variety of services and strategies from investment planning to estate conservation. Over time he learned the value of prudent retirement planning and the gaps that were common for individuals as well as businesses. In 1988 Ed relocated to Virginia and joined Mutual America to focus on helping both not-for-profit and for-profit companies establish and maintain quality retirement plans for their employees. It was here that he became the 401kguy. In the years that followed, he earned numerous accolades for his work as a leader within the organization and became known for his ability to be empathetic to his client needs while building trust and serving everyone with care and respect. He holds insurance and securities licenses for individuals and businesses.

He received a BSBA from Bryant University in Smithfield, RI with an emphasis in Business Administration Management, Economics and Marketing.  Ed is a dedicated husband to his wife Renee and father to his three sons and stepson. He is also a leader within his local church and community. He enjoys sports, camping, kayaking, fishing, photography and art.

Operations Manager

As Operations Manager, Melissa Washer’s primary role can be best described as bringing a family culture into a professional organization.

Melissa was born and raised in Alaska. She and Mike  met when her step-father was stationed in Florida while she was in college.  Melissa is very proud of the fact that her step-father retired from the Air Force after proudly serving our country for 28 years.  

For 15 years, Melissa was a stay-at-home mother of Lacey and Regan. Lacey is now a Registered Nurse, and Regan now has a central role at what is now a family-run and family-oriented practice. Melissa officially joined ICS Financial in 2007, and happily works alongside her husband and son to help other families enhance their wealth and protect what matters to them. 

In her free time, Melissa enjoys biking and hiking with her dogs. She also practices yoga each day and teaches a class one evening per week.

Managing Partner

Mike Washer founded what is now ICS Financial in 1997, and eventually brought on his wife Melissa and son Regan to form a family-focused practice. 

A Personal Producing General Agent and Registered Representative, Mike began his career in the early 90s working for a small boutique employee benefits agency. Over the years, he established a large concentration of self-employed clients, which has led him to develop financial experience in a number of areas, from business succession planning to investment management strategies. He partnered with Ameritas in 2012 and has been recognized as part of the firm’s Leaders Conference each year since. His focus in recent years has developed into a comprehensive and goal-based approach, which enables clients and their families to bring all the various parts of their wealth together into a clear strategy. 

Mike’s knowledge and professional experience has also made him a valuable resource in his community, in which the Washer family is very active. Mike and Melissa also have a daughter Lacey, a Registered Nurse, and the family often spends time together enjoying the outdoors.

Regan Washer, RFC®

Managing Partner

A. Regan Washer joined ICS Financial in 2016, representing the second generation in the family-run and family-focused practice.

Regan holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg Virginia. He is an Investment Advisor Representative and a Registered Financial Consultant, and he holds a number of securities and insurance licenses. Prior to joining ICS Financial, he was an internal wholesaler for Curian Capital, a subsidiary of Jackson National and Prudential, plc. 

This combination of education and experience has led Regan to develop a particular passion towards working with professionals who are looking for clarity and direction as they approach retirement. His service-oriented approach is based on a fundamental commitment to protecting his clients’ most valuable assets. He enjoys educating his clients on the principles of sound investment management and the importance of sustainable income. 

Outside of work, he lives a healthy lifestyle and spends time hunting, fishing and weight training.
